Compounding for Women
YOUR BODY IS CHANGING BUT YOUR LIFE DOESN'T HAVE TO
As we age, our hormonal levels start to decline. The change in these levels can result in debilitating symptoms such as hot flushes, vaginal dryness, low libido, weight gain, irritability, sleep problems and even weakening of the bones leading to osteoporosis.
The supplementations of hormones by HRT may assist in reducing these symptoms and improving quality of life.
Please note that although HRT is very effective in the treatment of menopausal symptoms, there are potential risks involved. Your doctor will be able to advise you if this treatment is suitable.
Traditionally women have only had the choice of using synthetic hormones for this treatment, compounding offers more options to help meet patients’ individual needs.
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) may be an effective solution as it uses plant-derived hormones that are biologically identical to the hormones naturally occurring in women. After consulting with your doctor, our compounding pharmacists will be able to prepare a treatment suitable to your specific needs.
At McKenzies Compounding chemist, in consultation with your doctor, we can compound your BHRT into oral, sublingual troches or topical administration to suit your particular needs.
Some of our popular products for women include:
Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy transdermal creams, gels, capsules and troches.
Kojic Acid and Hydroquinone creams
Melatonin capsules, solution and troches
Boric Acid Pessaries
Triple Sulpha Vaginal Creams
Anti-aging peels and creams
